Charity for people with disabilities
We in association with our partner Siva Trust identified some deserving persons with disability for the charity related work of STdHF in the Mettupalayam area of Coimbatore District.
In a small function facilitated in Kattoor, Mettupalayam, the programme was organised, in which Dr. Aravinth Karthikeyan, President of the Rotary club in Mettupalayam Prime was the chief guest. Assistive devices were distributed to a people with disability on that occasion.

The following are some information on our beneficiaries.
Ms. Kanagavalli from Vadamangalakkarai,Karamad. was crippled from birth and could not go to any school. She has learnt plastic wire bag weaving and how to make foot mats. She was given a wheelchair to enable her easy mobility.
T.Prabhavathi affected by polio, was crippled in her young age and lives on the earnings of her mother. She earns a small income by making flower garlands. She was given a wheelchair for her mobility and also for her efforts to earn a living.
Ziyavudeen Ismail affected by polio from a young age, has studied 10th std and is married. He is a small scale vegetable vendor. He needed a walking stick for his mobility and a pair of stick was provided to him.
Ms. Valliammal belongs to Indira Nagar, Dhasanoor, Mettupalayam. Her parents are daily wagers. During her class 9, she suffered an illness which later made her immobile. She was given a wheelchair to facilitate her mobility.
